Josey Scott, original vocalist and founding member of hard rock mainstays Saliva, made this evident this Friday night when he shook the 150 year old walls of TempleLive. He is considered the herald of the golden age of Saliva’s songwriting, penning the hits of Every Six Seconds, staple albums such as Blood Stained Love Story & Back Into Your System, all the way up to their seventh release, Under Your Skin.
Scott departed the band in 2012, but following a Saliva reunion show at Blue Ridge Rock Festival in September 2022, as well as the tragic passing of legendary guitarist Wayne Swinny in March of 2023, his interest in live music has been rekindled. Forming his own touring iteration of Saliva, he has been working his way across the states for the last few months.
