Honestly, I prefer to see performances like this once in a while. It let's us fans know, they are indeed human too. They aren't using any computers and auto tune. Not every night is gonna go 100% to plan or sound 100% like the album. Plus he's like what, 65-75? Sounds pretty damn good to me, I'd still pay (a reasonable, GA ticket) to see them

@@curtissflamence That's definitely him.. you can't mistake that tone. This is also very live given that his voice cracks. Now is he using some assist on the high notes like live auto tune Maybe minimally.. but he is live probably 90% of the time and the background vocals help a lot too. His wife is just not touring this time around. Myrkur doing an awesome job though.

I've been fortunate enough to cross paths with King Diamond in a professional setting. Had the opportunity to see in depth, the dedication this man has for his craft/profession. He's always been very focused and works tirelessly at being creative, and entertaining. @@raulc.c.1515 I got into heavy metal in high school and it's grown into a full-blown obsession. During that time Carcass put out Surgical Steel, Behemoth put out I Loved You at Your Darkest, and countless other older bands dropped new material as well. Metallica, Slayer, Exodus, Machine Head, Judas Priest, etc. Not a single one of them put out their best work during that time, but I'll always look back at those albums particularly fondly because they were the first new releases when I had started listening.
