Honestly, as a 30something woman, in hindsight: Most of the guys I met were sleazebags, but some hid it better than others. (This includes but is not limited to: cheaters, sex addicts, self-victimizing incels) If they’re not a sleazebag, they may still be a deadweight-it just usually doesn’t show as fast. And they’re basically all cowards. “Just give us a chance!” Oh maaaaan…. Some guys I’ve dated and believed in, some guys were simply friends I hung out with, and eventually ALMOST ALL of them have turned out to be disrespectful, corrupted, and unreliable in an intimate context. I’m not even tabulating in the clearly unhinged ones. For me personally it was the time a coworker I had a bit of a fling with told everyone at work I faked having covid so I didn't have to go out to lunch with him, which nearly got me fired from a job I had been working at for 16 years. The lie was spread around work to such a degree that I was piratically interrogated by management when I was well enough to return to work. Thankfully they believed me, granted I had to take a covid test in front of them, and I ended things with the guy that day. He couldn't understand why I was so angry with him.

He was eventually fired when he thought it would be acceptable to tickle a 16 year old female associate under her arms while making patronizing comments about her height (she was under five feet tall) and refused to stop until he was physically pulled away from her. My worst date: I show up at a bar and walk right past the guy because he is a few years older and easily 30 lbs heavier than his profile pic. He gets mad and defensive I don't recognize him, even though I wasn't mean about it. We start walking on the boardwalk, and he immediately tells me he used to be a coke addict - bad. He's sniffing as he says this. Oh, and he just broke up with his ex and he's a trainwreck over it because she's "such a bitch to hurt him like that." We then come across a man and woman taking pictures by the bluffs and he insists that he'll take their pictures, telling them to kiss. They are clearly uncomfortable and finally, the woman is like, "He's my BROTHER." She mouths "I'm sorry" to me as they leave. Soon after, he has to go to the bathroom, and our mission becomes finding him a place to pee. We duck into a Barnes & Noble and I'm waiting for him, thinking that I'll do him the courtesy of telling him in person that it's just not working and we should end it there. He doesn't come back. I finally get a text, "Wasn't feeling it - you weren't fun enough. Have a nice life." As I leave, the security guard is like, "Were you with that guy?" I say yeah, we were on a first date. He's like, "Girl, you dodged a bullet. What a jackass."

That’s really strange behavior from my experience with Satanists. Most tend to be normal and have a savage sense of humor. Maybe he was new at it and still in an angry atheist phase? We (atheists, which most Satanists are) do tend to have that phase early on, and it’s not pretty. Good news is that phase is usually temporary. It can be upsetting to feel like you’ve been lied to and had portions of your life stolen, and a lot of us kinda freak out a little during that, but most chill out and get back to living life, just with an understanding that we view the world and existence differently from those around us. Not making excuses for his behavior - what he did wasn’t cool - just trying to understand what happened. Sorry that happened to you. That couldn’t have been fun. I hope he figured himself out.

If someone doesn't date you because you voted for Trump, then that person is quite petty. I was married to someone and we had radically different political opinions. If a girl asked me if I voted Trump, as a condition whether or not we should date, I'd tell her I did (even though I didn't) just to see how she'd react.
