Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix, stars of Joker 2, came to the aid of a crew member who fell on the famous Bronx steps during filming. The 37-year-old singer, dressed as Harley Quinn, was shooting a scene with Phoenix when they noticed the mishap. Both stars quickly helped the crew member recover, ensuring his safety before continuing with the shoot.

I like how she's not just a hot rod with a flawless fit body to drool at , the way we see her in other adaptations. She's more raw, real, human, and relatable. That trend that we saw before with female characters should be broken in every way possible, and this is a great way forward. Good acting, good character development, good cinema, what else do we need? and i hope this movie is good enough that it changes this trend once and for all permanently. I'm not saying women can't wear that type of clothing or feel sexual, but if it's for the sake of trying to impress or a result of having to cater to a man, that should be addressed in the movie for sure. Because that's part of the character development too.

I think the reason she wore those sexy clothes is because Joker mentality abused her so much that she believed she had to be sexy just to get his attention. Yeah half of the reason was so guys/girls can drool at Harley Quinn yet I feel like if it has something to do with the story then nothing is really wrong with it

That trend was always puzzling because it flipped the script. Fans who would normally be called misogynists and incels preferred the less sexy Harley in the original animated series, who was a corrupted psychiatrist brought down to Joker's level. The trashy/sexy look came about the same time DC writers made her an overpowered "girl power" icon with super powers. The same "misogynists and incels" seem optimistic about this movie, because it probably has more in common with the original idea. Remember some people wanted the first Joker banned for fear of an incel uprising.

I’m just spitballing here, but to me it looks like she’s telling Arthur that she doesn’t want to be with him, and reveals (after singing and dancing) that she called the cops on him (since they ignore her, and quickly arrest him). Maybe this is a scene at the end of the film, maybe it’s in the center and he’ll break out again for the final act.. I’m not sure. Perhaps this Harley could be doing a deep cover as a therapist (similar to Shutter Island) and indulging in Arthur’s insane behavior only to reveal in this scene that it was all a big joke and she alerted the authorities to take him away… then at the end of the movie we might see her behaving similar to him as to show she’s not entirely right in the head either.
