Shortly after this, in 2012 she released her third studio album ‘Born This Way’ a very bold and liberating one with lyrical topics approacing religion, sexuality, freedom, individualism and feminism. At this point, she was the first artist to do that on this level. While touring for this album, she visited every populated continent and the tour was ranked as the fifth highest-grossing ones of 2012. She ended up having to cancel the couple remaining shows in late 2012 due to a serious hip injury. All of the things she did in these 5 years, already got her the love and appreciation of millions of people from all across the world, including the minorities and the LGBT comunity . On the other hand, she also received a ton of hate and criticism, mostly by the religious and conservative people, people who knew nothing about the impact Gaga had on so many people’s lives and how her music actually saved lives. She did so much during this time frame that it’s honestly incomprehensible, though she did it.
