I received a message online from a Lady who needed her yard mowed. She mentioned she just bought the house and someone left a lawnmower but it’s chained to the deck so she wanted someone to clean up the overgrown grass. Once we showed up, we could not believe the weeds hanging over the sidewalk and driveway. We spent a lot of time edging sidewalks, cleaning the driveway and cutting the lawn. Wait until you see the reveal and her response. She mentioned she has the nicest yard in the neighborhood!

The last yard I did before my back injury, I used 3 edger blades. The grass was covering most of the sidewalk and driveway. And she had a corner lot. That means only one thing, more grass. But she was so happy that the next day she invited all of us to here house warming party. Her family bought everything food wise. And me and my helper were so happy.

Hey Erik! Fantastic job! That was a lot of work being a corner house. That happened to me when I bought my house, the grass was over a foot high and I didn’t have a lawnmower. 👍👍have ever thought about edging first and throwing that stuff on the lawn. Then when you mow it will be integrated back into grass and yard. No disposal needed. So much more efficient. Great job on the ladies yard

Love what you do! I am a little shocked that the able bodied people you help don't jump in lend a hand, especially when it's a new home owner. I have had my house for 7 years now and look forward to cutting my grass. I have to use a lawn tractor because of my back and stretch out my yard work as I can handle it but it's something I enjoy and love helping the neighbors if I am able. I may be walking hunched over for days afterward but it is important to keep moving when possible or it will only get worse. Even sitting too long is painful.

First walk the yard and pick up all the trash if any. Then pick up all the branches and twigs that might hurt the mower. I never did, that's why my deck is broken. Then to edge the whole yard and the driveway and sidewalks. Then to trim it all out, then to use the mower to cut all the grass and cut up what we trimmed out and edged. And then to blow everything spotless clean. Great job Erik. We know how to help people in need.

I think a good lesson for taking the next step is decorative vs invasive/weed. Some of the stuff you only trim needs to be taken out. Great job you are doing and nice to see people appreciate it.

Good job doing a good deed. She has a very big iris bed. Those iris can go for as much as 6 bucks a plant, so you are looking at several hundred dollars worth of iris. The sidewalk and curb has to be the best in her neighborhood. Bravo.
