This is so bittersweet to hear! I heard a comerical tonight that had this song and reminded me of Jonathan Brandis! I absolutely adored him growing up and even bought the screenplay to the Ladbugs movie and so many magazines featuring him when I was in junior high (Bop, Teen Beat, Tiger Beat, etc.) My parents were honored to see him in person at an Irish pub in L.A. in 1998. I feel so sad that he passed away in the way that he did!!! He will always be missed!!!! 💔🙏😿

I have this movie on blu ray but before I I got the DVD o watched it online and when I went to go watch it in the tv this Part as coming up and my mom was sitting on the couch watching it with me and I was nervous to watch it in front of her so I pretend I had to use the bathroom and I was watching her watch it and she started laughing hysterically and she said no they didn't and now this scene makes me laugh because it reminds me of my moms reaction 😂

I was in high-school. I was on the track team. The boys team used to run track meets with the girls teams. There was this beautiful girl named Lisa that looked like the girl in this clip. I asked her out. To my surprise I was a few years older. Because of the age difference her dad did not approve. I remember kissing her between classes. She was a great kisser. We only dated a couple weeks but I will never forget her and that was over 30 years ago. There are some people in life we have a whirlwind romance with and we never forget them. She was one of those girls. When I first saw this film and this scene...my thoughts instantly turned to a blonde named Lisa, tall...statuesque with a beautiful athletically toned body.
