this type of music, the soul / jazz blues style is much better tone than the pop music trash she normally does. shame she does the dull airhead stuff to bilk her fans instead of real music. if you had any musical training or talent or ear for music you would understand. since you don't even comprehend what was said, you are just another sheep drinking pop music drival.@@dragospahontu

Any trained vocalist eventually can use their own voice as an instrument and they know exactly what range limits they have, I love that you said "controlled" because it's not all about these crazy runs and booming voices, example: KZbin Jax American Idol audition, again, controlled but just using her voice as only she can 👍🔥🎶🎵

The lady has no soul. The voices of Amy Winehouse and Billie Holiday will live forever. Such voices comes round once in a handful of generations. +m6448 PM Great job! My parents also checked out the music I used to listen to, but mostly the musicians. Just their interest in that made me realize how important is to choose good music, with taste and meaning. Gaga is an ispiration to a generation, and I can tell you that when I went to her concert (at the age of 23) I truly felt her talent and all the love she gives to her fans. In there, listening to her, we were all a great family, united by love for music, art and life. So let your kids listen to her, she will give them lessons that no other pop singer will (surely not Niky Minaj, Britney Spears or such). She is truly an artist.
@iTeacupPanda
@iTeacupPanda 8 жыл бұрын
+m6448 PM I wouldn't be so convinced she is a good role model. Relying on horrible gimmicks such as people vomiting paint on you and finding that convincing people you are an artist rather than being one isn't very good. Putting publicity before your craft? Not so respectful. Not to mention, lets remember that she in fact changed not only her appearance, but her sound - genre - lyricism - vocal technique - style of performance and even audience to get famous. In under a six month period she goes from black hair to platinum blonde and bangs, ballet flats and jeans to fetish gear, sitting on a stool with an acoustic guitar to a disco stick and fully choreographed dance numbers and 2002 Avril Lavignesque music to dance hits. And anytime she is confronted about lying about her past " Well, I guess I remember things differently. " --- Did it happen or did it not? If you remember things happening differently you remember how they happened or why they happened in another perception, it doesn't change that they still did or did not happen. And then of course, claiming other's work as your own? Theft of art is never okay. If you trace someone else's artwork in another color, you're not an artist. So tweaking another person's work and changing the lyrics? It's not a new song.

God. Her ability to use her voice as an instrument is meant to be played where it can be used for any genre is amazing and not as common now a days. Like. When you think of most current singers, if you put them in other genres I can promise you at least 80% of them would sing the song the exact same way they usually do. Which is fine but gaga uses hers like a theatre kid or an instrumentalist would. Where she hears the energy the song needs and the vibe it puts off and matches it perfectly. Obviously at base level it's her voice and we all know that but the change in her diction, where she's putting emphasis and everything shows that she doesn't just sing the song. She is living that song out as if she was telling the actual story of the song as the character would

@@persephone2588 Simplicity and popularity doesn't indicate that something is trash. I see this sentiment a lot, but I dont understand it.
