Because MUSIC is her passion. It doesn't matter the genre or the style. She has everything to shine in music, whatever she does. And it's a case of taste, but you can't diminish his previous work on The Fame or Born This Way because of being "pop", when you know the ability of this woman and the work she dedicates to production and music craft. Most of her "pop" music and performance is quality artistry and she did it with passion and loved doing it. She has said so and its obvious when you watch her perform. Sure sometimes it was simply light hearted and fun, sometimes important message delivery, always dramatic. Her voice fits the requirement of each particular performance. She was schooled in the performing arts and she's a professional producer and entertainer. That's what we should expect from the industry. Gaga can now afford to do projects that she has a passion for regardless of popularity and her next album will probably be in the pop genre or maybe rock because she has a passion for it.

+m6448 PM Great job! My parents also checked out the music I used to listen to, but mostly the musicians. Just their interest in that made me realize how important is to choose good music, with taste and meaning. Gaga is an ispiration to a generation, and I can tell you that when I went to her concert (at the age of 23) I truly felt her talent and all the love she gives to her fans. In there, listening to her, we were all a great family, united by love for music, art and life. So let your kids listen to her, she will give them lessons that no other pop singer will (surely not Niky Minaj, Britney Spears or such). She is truly an artist.
@iTeacupPanda9 жыл бұрын
+m6448 PM I wouldn't be so convinced she is a good role model. Relying on horrible gimmicks such as people vomiting paint on you and finding that convincing people you are an artist rather than being one isn't very good. Putting publicity before your craft? Not so respectful. Not to mention, lets remember that she in fact changed not only her appearance, but her sound - genre - lyricism - vocal technique - style of performance and even audience to get famous. In under a six month period she goes from black hair to platinum blonde and bangs, ballet flats and jeans to fetish gear, sitting on a stool with an acoustic guitar to a disco stick and fully choreographed dance numbers and 2002 Avril Lavignesque music to dance hits. And anytime she is confronted about lying about her past " Well, I guess I remember things differently. " --- Did it happen or did it not? If you remember things happening differently you remember how they happened or why they happened in another perception, it doesn't change that they still did or did not happen. And then of course, claiming other's work as your own? Theft of art is never okay. If you trace someone else's artwork in another color, you're not an artist. So tweaking another person's work and changing the lyrics? It's not a new song.

I hate people saying: ‘omg, I didn’t she could sing like that. Now I like/respect her’. She’s being singing like that since always, you just chose to be judgemental and focus on her looks rather than on her talent. What about not judging a book by its cover?

Those people probably judged her based on her songs ( which used to be reeeally pop and catchy,but trash if compared to a performance like this), not her looks
@rubyrayne85 жыл бұрын
Not knowing doesn’t mean judging. It could just mean they hadn’t listened to her music. Or heard a couple pop songs of hers. I’m not sure what your implying .., like ppl judged her vocals by her looks?
@CyanideGirl945 жыл бұрын
@@persephone2588 Simplicity and popularity doesn't indicate that something is trash. I see this sentiment a lot, but I dont understand it. It may not be everyone's preference, but sometimes it's just fun to be bluffin' with your muffin, and not every musical experience has to be profound and thoughtful. Sometimes it can just be fun and catchy, and that doesn't mean it's bad.

+MsMaasi I have been listening to Gaga in the mornings when I do my yoga ball exercises. I broke my back in seven places almost four years ago. My family was informed I'd never walk again. I would rather dance, and now finally I do. I've been a fan of hers for years, but her rendition of the SSB last week was easily the best I've ever seen, certainly the most memorable, although Whitney Houston killed it one year at the Super Bowl. Gaga has been an incredible source of inspiration for me during my spinal recovery. Somehow I got things moving again. Thanks again honey.

You people need to know, Pop sells. Its a smart move for her and her management to venture into pop first before branching out into other genres. She's doing this as a career and as an artist. You'll need to find a good foundation to start off where your career can take flight. Imagine her starting off as a classical/jazz singer, would there be this much response if not for her pop persona she has established earlier on as Lady Gaga? So stop saying shit like she should have done this instead of her crazy meatdress entrances and 'illuminati-filled' songs. She's well capable of anything she wants to. Pop was a smart start.

You rather watch Beyonce shake her OLD vagina and ass at that age? Or watch Katy Perry sing teenage dream at that age? Or watch Taylor Swift sing Bad Blood at that age? LMFAO. What about Miley Cyrus play with a Dildo on stage at that age? LOL. I think I rather watch Lady Gaga sing Jazz or Broadway in Las Vegas at that age. Shady but REAL.
