Grace is such a saint. Letting Dev try out a disastrously evil playthrough after a save, like a parent allowing a teenager to try out being drunk in the safety of home.

I made some lets say rather unfortunate descisions and I wont load the game again. Same if someone dies or I dont roll the dice I want them to. It even got me locked out on a couple of missions and items now and I lost 4 companions already. Also I just went through the Underdark and did not also do the Mountain Pass. Its paying of since the size of the game doesnt even scare me now to play it again a completly different way :)

I'm easily 2 weeks late for this, but in the event Dev sees this and the info doesn't evaporate into the Astral Plane on her: You CAN get away with murdering people, but like stealing and pickpocketing, you need to be very sly and clever about it! A few main things that are crucial to pulling it off: Turn-based mode! You need this to make the most of time-limited effects and to help mitigate other NPCs taking notice. Spells, like Fog Cloud and Darkness, are huge helps for doing all manner of sneaky things. Hard-hitting melee attacks, like Astarion's Sneak Attack, can kill weaker targets in a single blow. A party member with high Strength (18 or higher) can pick up a whole dead body right into their inventory, and can either take it with them somewhere away from prying eyes, or hide it in other items like crates and barrels. Spilled blood on the ground is basically Guilt Water. If you freeze it, using something like the Freezing Ray cantrip, it will actually BE water when it melts, and will no longer be so suspicious.

The honest funny thing about watching Dev play game and just watching her reaction when she roll the dice and win the roll then busting out in Dino dance is quite charming and gleeful. You’re watching a grown woman play the game where she’s a core part of the story. But many grown women would just as easily dismiss playing any video game or real video games like BG3 and say it’s a childish thing brushing it off. But here is Dev having fun in a wonderful way and clearly looking forward to playing, greeting her growing fan audience for the sessions, enjoying the adventure of playing and seeing how the story unfolds. It’s just fun to watch a grown adult have some fun in a bit her spare time. Cheers to Dev!

you'll probably call me stupid for saying this but this comment comes off incredibly disrespectful and misogynistic. a large demographic of people, not just women, don't like video games. this follows along the line of thinking that girls can't play games or that men are better at games or whatever nonsense. i know you consider the thing you said to be a compliment, but it is more of a backganded way to disparage other women you think are stupid because they don't like the things that you like.

In my first playthrough I romanced Karlach. I decided to go with Lae'zel in my second playthrough and she can be very...let's say _forceful_ when it comes to intimacy. Oh! I think I said this on the last video, but be sure to put Wyll in your party while you're at the Grove. He already knows Speak with Animals so you don't need to worry about potions. Just have him cast the spell on himself and let him do the talking. The spell will last until you do a long rest, so you can talk to as many animals as you want. It's not a particularly useful skill (except for the Strange Ox) but it gives you a lot of cute interactions.

These Dev'zel streams are the best! Truly! I legit signed up for Twitch just now, today, cause they're that badass! I think I have to wait till like 1 am though, cause other side of the planet an all. But anyhow, oh oh, quick idea!!! So when Dev'zel or Lae'zel hits lvl 3, check out the Fighter maneuver "Rally" at level up. It's a really great Fighter maneuver in the early game! Basically it works from far away like the spell Healing Word, but gives up to +8 hitpoints over a character's normal Max hitpoints. So even more hitpoints for the team! You can use it multiple times on different characters. Basically it's like that big horn Zevlor that blew at the Gate battle that gave everyone extra health, does that same sorta thing, but whenever you need. Super useful! Especially for 2 fighters early on, cause they can keep each going and on their feet that way, without needing a healer as much, or potions and the like. It has a nice range, so if a party member gets downed one of the fighters can fire off the Rally maneuver as a bonus, the downed character will hop right back up, and the Fighter can still use all their normal attacks to boot! The Menacing Attack maneuver and the Disarming Attack maneuver are also way badass (those both work with Melee and Ranged weapons), but Rally ended up being my go to. They're all fun, but when Lae'zel says 'Rally the troops' that's when I know I made the right call for that one hehe. Still a great maneuver even at the higher levels too! Lae'zel is constantly saving my ass with that one, in like every playthrouggh. Anyhow, have a blast out there! And again, excellent stream! You're all rocking it!
Жыл бұрын
Another fun move for Lae'zel is Pommel striking cause it can Daze the enemy, which makes them easier to hit. I always used to do it at the end, like after the main hand attacks cause it's like a bonus action right, but if you lead with a Pommel strike sometimes sets up a nice big hit at the finish! I think of it like a surprise headbutt built into the silver sword hehe. The Fighter maneuver Rally can be used like the Help action, except as a bonus action! and from further away too. You can use it to buff up if you think a fight might be coming, because the hitpoint bonuses last a long time, or if you get surprised and someone is downed all of a sudden, Rally will get them back up cause it has that healing part. But it's kinda even more boss than the regular heal, cause Lae'zel does that little Rally snap and it's got that cool sound! Which is rad! Later on as some of the other weapons moves are more awesome, but I think if it's the first time around and not at lvl 5 yet, it's got some definite utility. Gives the Fighters a way to heal their crew, so sorta like Second Wind for yourself and Rally for the rest of the team, saves on having to buy healing potions. Like it's more valuable at this point in the game in a lot of ways, when the heals and hitpoints are harder to come by. Oh and Menacing Attack makes the enemies cower in fear, so sorta similar to the stun from the Pommel strike there, or you can Disarm or Push em with the weapons, those are fun cause you can either do it with the sword or the bow. The others are cool too, and you can switch 'em around later on too, but at lvl 3 those ones can really come. Sometimes it's kinda tricky to tell the difference of the icons for some of the weapons attacks though, which is why Rally is kinda nice, cause it pops up with the healing color which is easy to spot. Hehe ok ramble ramble sorry way too long. But basically you can't go wrong with any of them. Riposte is nuts once the fighters start powering up too! LvLs 3 and 4 are like the most fun I think, and then when you get to Lvl 5 Lae'zel goes totally ultra! I'm excited for the next out! Best - Elk

I would be wary. I did this with Mol on my playthrough (I found the hideout and ignored her countdown). It broke a couple of quests for the rest of Act 1. None of the kids would talk to me for the rest of the Act and Mol had disappeared. The guards would also repeatedly try to arrest me for "threatening children". I was able to get through the Act and able to talk to Mol afterwards but I know I missed a few quests with the kids in the grove because of it. If you don't care about that then that's fine. Also you really have to be careful about stealing in the grove. It's very easy to mis click something and have everyone attack you. Otherwise I think you're doing a great job in the game! I love watching you and the other voice actors play.

2 tips if you don't know yet. 1) When you get into a fight (which you love so much🤭), you will notice when hovering over the enemies they have a red bar with a number, it's the health pool of the enemy. You will see it go lower as you hit them. And if you play around with the interface options of the game, it should tell you the amount of damage each kind of attack or spell is capable of dealing. I'm not sure how to see it on PS5, I only have the game on PC. That info can help you finish of your foes as quick as possible, so you don't need to fight for longer than what's REALLY necessary. 2) You can use your journal to follow progress of all your quests /activities and even past conversations if you get a little lost of what to do or forgot what you did last etc. And you really getting into that bad ass githyankee persona 😜
