European football champ, that ship docking game (can't remember the name), that airplane game (the one that iPad now has), racing game (it was either Jaguar or Lamborghini), and of course my face 2 of the greatest Amiga games ever: Sensible World of Soccer and Another World (Xbox now has it yaay). 90s games matched the perfect 90s music, movies, food, culture, everything basically we had. 90s will always be the greatest era of all time!

Yea you're never going to get it if you think its about quality. Its about the feeling you got from something new like how when a cool new game comes out now it feels good to play it. Imagine that feeling but multiplied by a huge factor because the entire genre is new. You're entitled to think otherwise and of course because if you werent part of it youre probably never going to understand it anyway.

I miss the old days, being a kid and playing darkseed, chaos engine, aphidya etc. They were the best days. Gaming these days for the most part sucks. Yeah their are some great games that can last a while but back then games seemed way more unique. Everything is so generic today. You can find a thousand games that are basically the same but have slightly different physics, skins and music. Back then, every game you'd play was more unlike any of it's close competitors than is true of today. I'm not saying it's not better today and maybe it's just nostalgia but i loved the pre genesis days. Mario and sonic are great and created a revolution but they were also the beginning of a tedium and repetition that trickled down into virtually every genre. Maybe I'm over stating it a bit and i wouldn't prefer not to have those games, but damn, those were the days of creativity. I mean, just look at loom, exile, another world or zool. Now every indie game seems so forced and try-hard.
