I think it's not about turning back time as many people say in the comments of a NES game video.. The fact is that even if we could turn it back (or be transported right into the time of our childhood), we , being adults, would perceive that world in a very different way (and I don't even know what our impression could be... Probably even scary or something). To get back all those feelings and emotions, it's necessary (besides turning back time) to overturn all those reactions in our brain and body itself (get a child's impression back just the way we had it when we were children ourselves). I myself watched T2: Judgement Day last week. I perceived it in a way very different from that one in the '90s. Well, one gets what I mean.

Why are the graphics so pixelated? It wasnt like this originally
@mrchico26212 ай бұрын
Yes it was lol. How were you remembering it?
@MusclesNOTtattoos2 ай бұрын
@@mrchico2621 No way. I was an Amiga gamer for years and the graphics were smoother. No worries its probably something that happens when the games are emulated. I have an old Amiga somewhere so I'm gonna fire it up and see. Cannon fodder graphics were very smooth but on this video they are pixelated to f. Its pretty much the same for nearly all game footage that is uploaded to KZbin be it spectrum or amiga. Must be something in the process causing it. Emulators are awful.
@mrchico26212 ай бұрын
@@MusclesNOTtattoos You're probably just remembering how it looked on an old CRT display. Don't think emulators are doing anything specifically to alter the visuals. I suspect you'd find your native system would look just the same as this on a modern display.
@guillermopaolini98952 ай бұрын
CRT screens have the effect of dithering, which softens the pixels. Additionally, if you used a composite type connection, the pixels were softened even more, with some distortion.

holy shit this looks like cartoons from back in the day. I casn see its more of a "fabular" approach and not real racing game, but still it looks great now (with the nostalgia) and in the late 80's it must have been just God like epic looking.

You slayed this! It took me ages to not just complete SotB back in the day (not to mention Beast II after ten pints of Speckled Hen), but this was a great ending. I do feel however, that Maletoth was a disappointment. The final guardian of the first game I found more intimidating.

What if people make an arrangement of the 1985 arcade intro theme. The one from the 80s. Not the Sega cd version even thought that one was better. I was wondering if anyone can arrange the arcade version of the intro theme.

Oh no brothers! the 90s ended… Our conquest is over..The times of legends gone and passed. A time forgotten by many. But not by us. They will still laugh and wonder of our obsession with the 90s, how those fools did not cherish the 90s like we did. Those damn fools. I would hate to live in their new reality…if that’s what they call it. Give me the 90s damnit!
