We crossed back into Georgia after a month in Azerbaijan, and were so happy to find what turned out to be our favourite restaurant in the 2 months we spent in Georgia!

The wine is white, just it's done on Skeen contact (Georgian stile winemaking, which is 8 000 years old). We call it Amber wine.

The white wine was so unbelievably cheap and full of flavour! Thank you for the explanation, and also for commenting as it reminded me about this video and the great time we had in Georgia. We ate and drank so well for such low prices in Lagodekhi :)

@@FrugalTravellers Awesome. will check out your blog. That's about what we budgeted. $25 each. Not always works though. I mean, we just started traveling so hopefully we figure it out soon :) I am surprised though that it is more expensive in Iraqi Kurdistan.

@@OdysseyStory hotel rooms here are expensive and poor value for money but everything else is cheap. $25 a day is a fair budget to keep to if you are careful. Europe is tough though!

@@OdysseyStory - the Caucasus worked out a lot cheaper than the 'stans last year, and will be cheaper than Turkey and Iraqi Kurdistan. I'm not sure where our money goes here as accommodation is around US$21 per night for a double room, and kebabs and falafel are cheap! And we keep being given tea 😃
