This is an absolutely fantastic short film. This should win an Emmy. It's that good. This game means so much and it heals those who have had everything taken from them. Hats off to you guys for telling this story and the wonderful people in Lahainaluna...God bless you all.

We are Malama. We are Lokahi. We are Resilient. Together as an Ohana, we will strive and rebuild. The tears will continue to flow from time and time again, but our faith and hope remains resilient. I stand in solidarity with Lahaina, to all our brothers and sisters effected by Mother Natures ferocity. Much love and respect from Los Angeles California. I’m willing to donate my time to help rebuild. I’m a Jack of all trades, HVAC is my primary trade. I’m willing to spend an entire month possibly longer if needed. You are not alone

Getting the sporting programs up and running running again, will try to bring some sort of Normality to the student body and of course into the wider community. Even if that community is struggling to re build and re establish the town

Check out Alumni football USA. They go around the country to different schools and provide all the helmets and pads to anybody willing to play. The guy who owns it even said they’ve been to the Hawaiian islands multiple times. Just played a game a couple months ago. Make sure you got good health insurance though. Some guys get messes up. There were a couple guys in their 50s who played and they did just fine.

28k views on Feb 13 and only 65 comments? Apparently NFL fans don't care about what happened to Lahaina and the people of Maui! And no mention of how to donate at the end of the video? Just a link covered up with all your NFL Films promotions? How much has NFL donated to the families of Lahaina, besides just football equipment for only 3 schools?

Exactly my thoughts! They charged $9000 minimum for Super Bowl seats and didn't offer a percentage to Lahaina Maui and it's people? Just grants for new football equipment? Doesn't the NFL own enough equipment to simply donate more than enough to only 3 schools, without using grants??? And aren't they able to afford to donate directly to the families to help them secure their property deeds so no one can come in and steal their land from them after it's been destroyed by this fire. Deadliest Fire in US History!
@THEGLASSMANSWORLD9 ай бұрын
@@AncientRe mainstream media dubbed it so! Meaning the fatality total for Lahaina had to beat the Peshtigo Fire and not just around 100 as mainstream media is trying to claim.

@@TyEats2200depends on who you interacted with. Some ppl have animosity towards Caucasians. Some towards Micronesians. You got some bad apples for sure. But if you come to Hawaii with a bad attitude(picture the typical moved from the west coast and wants things to he like how it was back home) types. You'll get a lot more animosity from people. But I'd say for the most part, 99% of people here don't rly bother with skin color. Attitude is more checked on imo.

I live in Oahu and yeah… my family is all Hawaiians and they have some sort of like bitterness or some kind of grudge against white people? I never really minded but I often felt conflicted because my parents would curse out a white tourist for not following a rule, or getting lost and in my head I’m thinking “No duh! They don’t live here!”
