They are not only taught us meditation but also astrology and medication (siddha). "Y they should wastes time on others karma" - I am seeing this in different way that they are not wasting time but it may one of their duty assigned by this universe. I agree your point, now a days Astrology is business because of so called "Astrologers". No one can predict the future, if some one does that he is one of them, I mean Rishi / Siddhar. As far as I know, one can predict the future of a human and giving guidance he must be enlightened. But some people (very few) are having that trace of predicting future because of his Karma. So, we cant come blindly to any conclusion.

I would say 100% accurate for all of us. I saw my friend name (Ashok) written on the palm leave as அ ச க. Some goddess algorithm is there, I believe normal humans could not understand/decode it. You would have not met the right person which could be the reason for this horrible experience, also now a days they are producing fake palm leaf and writing on this like first copy product :), we can claim this is a bogus. I am not talking about TODAY'S Siddhars (KZbin,TV).
