As a techie I lost my job 3 months ago along with 200 others in my company. We got severance package for few months. I started preparing within a week once the shock came down a bit & completed one certification. Applied to many jobs through multiple portals like LinkedIn, Monster, Naukri etc. Initial few interviews were flop but once I got hang of it, I learnt my mistakes & did better. 1.5 month after my layoff I landed a good job again. To all those laid off, don't lose hope & don't take things personally. Move on & focus on self improvement. Dear Shraddha, your writing as usual top notch. Very clever & witty yet relatable to the common man. You are indeed a gem!

Over a decade ago, a coder in Berlin showed me his markov-chain-based text generator that took syllables and put them together and dropped the ones that were not in its dictionary. The year before my partner and I had recorded more media views than the CEO (maybe that's why they dumped me). It’s a beautiful video you made… you are well read and intelligent… that adds to the content… companies having these stuff like diversity and inclusion are run by people like you and me … the world and the economies are run by many companies… not everyone chose to be a stand up comedian… your struggle is to be on the top of the other comedians … once the world finds someone more funny than you …. You start innovating a new comedy…. It’s a struggle everywhere …. Your definition of laid off would be when you see likes to your videos diminishing …. So the point is … being an entrepreneur or a labour is no different … we all struggle in our own space … unless your struggle is less than mine … you have amused me with this video
