The amount of work that ran into making this video alone is insane. Sadly these get so little views.

can you make a mini how to make puppets like norman for us LAIKA, that would be inspire a bunch of people to make awesome characters like this
@emilwestgaardhenriksen17156 жыл бұрын
Secret Code I would like to know too, there are puppets to buy but they are in most cases ridiculous expensive to buy, the puppet itself doesn't look to complicated to build though, the frame is the most and least technical stuff I think it is simple balljoints mostly wich are really effective to animate movement, the bulk seems to be done with some sort of clay (selfhardening/epoxyputty) and the skin I would guess is silicone ☺️ but would be awesome of you guys at LAIKA if you could show us a more detailed version of how it's done ☺️

@@emilwestgaardhenriksen1715 There are alot of videos on the Tested KZbin channel from Adam Savage about how Aardman Animation's (Shaun, Wallace & Gromit) do there characters where they also name the materials often times, there are also 2 or 3 videos from like I think.

@@xyoxus yeah I know that now I watched this before I watched the others :p I also spent some time researching it myself, really interesting actually and it is more going into tye puppets itself than you would even believe 😊

In class my art teacher showed your movies but first showed us these videos like how you made a working light for paranorman or how in Coraline you had popcorn cherry blossoms my teacher basically idolizes your movies and it was funny for the boy kids who never seen Coraline because of that scene I myself like almost every movie you make I still haven’t seen box trolls but thank you for making these movies and taking time out of your day to entertain us

God I remember me watching your movie years ago. I love Norman and I have watched this video for several times. It was different tho, it was only 1 minute and the bgm was different as well. I love Norman so much. Thanks for giving us such a great work

Que increíble es la animación Stop Motion, aunque se ve que si lleva su tiempo elaborar cada cosa. Vale la pena el esfuerzo y tanto Laika como otros estudios lo han demostrado muy bien.
