I have been flying RC gliders on and off since 1976. I wish we had something like this back in the day. Great video, Laine is an excellent pilot and this is a wonderful airplane~!

You're not going to believe this, but I also had a Cirrus back then. It had a 10-foot wingspan and it was white. I flew it slope soaring at Torrey Pines State Park in Southern California. I also had a Wanderer-99 with flaps and slats. I no longer live in California so I don't fly gliders that much anymore.

As he is a glider pilot I thought the set up for his landing was quite ill prepared. As it is an aerobatic glider it’s slippy, heavy and built primarily for aerobatics. I would have felt nervous if that was my glider under the hands of someone else going low and slow in a final turn. But as the video shows the glider is capable and very impressive none the less.

Glad it did well for you, My flying buddy got one flew it about 2 minutes then the ailerons locked up in a turn and all he could do was to keep flying in circles till it hit the ground, it broke the wing tube on one side, and we ended up having to break one the tabs off cause it refused to release the other side. I think they sent him a new wing but the fuse is damaged too.

I can get the 10 minutes of flight without the... motor Putting it in that circle.. idk. No matter how hard I try I'm always at 2nd base. Mostly..huh different way to look at it cool.. !

I went to a battery place here in Erie and they do not make the lipos .. I got to look into this little bit. More.. they're scared of a fire... It's not your fault it would be my fault...! Tesla invented wireless energy in the 1800 wtf.. is going on.. why ..!! why. ?? Aaaaahhhhhhh! Sumbitches!!

Again please let me know if FMS has any way to access the main to change it without really breaking the housing or buying a new fuselage. The tire is very soft for asphalt. My field’s grass is very rough and very long most of the time to land on it.

i have a setup for a dx8e . Its for my 2.3 fox but I'm sure it is very similar . I have it setup for 2 position flaps, crow, and camber. Throttle is on the stick and camber is on the right knob.

Not exactly intended as an LMR plane, but sure it will thermal, try some aerobatics motor off, jeez, you've flown it every way but the way it was designed to be flown.
