PL asked "where was Adam when the serpent was speaking to Eve". A lot of people are saying Adam was right there and even quoting scriptures. Anyways, I asked myself the same question and immediately a thought dropped in my spirit which I believe is by the Holy Spirit. You can be physically present in a relationship as in right there as Adam was and be spiritually, emotionally, psychologically and mentally absent or disconnected. So PL was right. Where was Adam's consciousness all the while Eve was trading blindly.
