The water level in Bala does fluctuate I guess to manage flooding further down the river Dee. I'd be putting a rope between the boat and that tree - just in case 😅😅

Yes and it's fluctuating far this year than it ever has. In fact I checked th cameras yesterday, after the big flooding incedent this week, and its almost up to the clubhouse! Good job all the boats have gone.

I hope the health issues improved in the summer just gone, but given the nature of it I imagine you have developed webbed feet. Watching the video was a bit like having a chat with a mate, do keep up the good work.

history repeating itself in season 4 again , i remember black magic being taken to the club from next door by Ritchie and next minute the water levels were up , the key was in the boat Dave for the lock , but you wernt to know that then . nice to see her again on film as that was the last time i owned her . Lulu is looking great and looking forward to seeing the adventures in season 4 personal and mental health can have a great impact on us during the winter months and i know we have spoke about that, glad you are better and sorting things out since keep up the good work

Yes I agree on the mental health, us older guys need to talk about it more and also health issues. Not soldier on as we tend to do. Hopefully thge water wont be as bad as last season. I remember missing 2 weeks of sailing for holidays and then another 2-3 due to the water being super high!

I must have missed something... what did you wish to test with your rudder? Was it the placement of the bronze keeper under the keel ?

I think you;re referring to the new lower rudder bearing that I fitted over the winter. In order to check if it lines up you need to feed the rudder into the 2 bearings and you can;t do that onl the trailer, even if you move the rudder slot back to clear the trailer. I "think" its about right as there are guides in the fibreglass to set the bearing in. but until I test it you don't know! I couldn't do that today as I couldn't get Lulu into the water, but next week we do!
