Lake Como Road Trip 🇮🇹 Zermatt To The Dolomites!

We are currently in Italy. And driving to the Dolomites (The Excelsior) on Friday. Renting a car from Europcar in Como. How was the drive out to the Dolomites? We are from the USA. Easy? Scary? Our phones have signal as we got that squared away before we left. Thanks! I’m starting to get a little anxiety over it. I’m a very aware and good driver. Just need some reassurance or some tips.

@@willschaust7978 I know for certain you will be alright, that being said in my 14 years of driving experience driving around lake como was the most stressful couple hours of driving I’ve ever had. If you plan on driving around lake como lake side it’s a bit nerve racking but you will do ok, take it easy, don’t be in a hurry and don’t take your eyes off the road. The roads around lake como are going to be the only stressful part of your driving. Everywhere else between Como and the Dolomites will be just fine, like any other road in the America. I hope you guys have a phenomenal time! It will beat any expectation you guys have.

@@Alyanandsamantha we made it! Took us 5 hrs from the city of Como. We rented in Como. We were staying at Borgo La Terrazze. Our cab driver was an absolute maniac haha. Idk how they don’t side swipe other cars on the regular. We took the highway route to Excelsior Dolomites Life Resort. It is unreal hear. Then we drive down to Venice.

@@willschaust7978 hell ya! Have an amazing time! Yes it’s wild how comfortable all of the locals are whereas I was so white knuckle doing it lol! Vince is awesome! Over indulge in some great Venetian food for us!
