What a hike! That is a tough one, so well done to you both. We've unfinished business up there as we got a bit lost! We were inexperienced and tried to find easier paths that didn't exist. Your fitness levels are very good. We came down the same route and I found that a mighty challenge at the time as we didn't know what it was like. But the iconic views make it worthwhile. Regards, Ashley

Hi Ashley, we just love the Langdales. Yes that one was quite a strenuous effort to say the least, it does help when you get windows of nice weather however. Yes, Harrison Stickle and Pike o Stickle are such iconic hills they can be easily spotted for miles around. Thanks again for watching 🙏🏻

Hi How do you find your way round? I'm new to this, I do have a GPS so I can upload something. I'm not really a map reader. Maybe I'll have to learn

Hi, thanks for watching 🙏🏻 We use the ‘Outdoor Active’ app to plan most of our routes which is pretty good. The beauty about OA is that once you have your route download onto your phone you can use the gps to navigate with no need for phone signal… We do also always take with us a paper map and compass as it’s a very important to be able to navigate using this method just in case your phone battery goes or you drop and break it.. Thanks again Matthew & Sue

@@crag_mavericks I'll have a look at that . I use Graphhoppers because you can save route and upload it to your phone and th3n to my Amazfit Trex2 watch . I've given you the name because it's worth looking at for the price . You might find it useful because phone batteries do die
