The lake effect snow is a very interesting weather phenomenon. The moisture from the open lakes are literally dumped as snow in the direction of the wind. The temperature difference between the lakes and the air above is also a key factor here.

Better than shoveling but not much, too much physical work, i like plowing quick and easy

the guy has no idea how to use that snowblower. I have a lesser powered one and I can do that job with ZERO effort. he's stressing the machine versus just putting it in first gear and just letting it walk through it all without bogging down. My father would have smacked me for using the snowblower that way
