Lake El Salto Fishing Trip - "Maybe, Maybe not"

Mark and I booked a trip to Lake El Salto in December to catch some good numbers and giants. The lake was fishing great for daily catches but we only managed to crack one over 8lbs. Out guide Peto was amazing and the dude put us around tons.
Left the trip with a new saying when we would ask Peto to try a different spot and if he thought it would be good with out fail his response was "maybe....maybe not"
This lake is loaded with fish and you can really catch them any way you want.
We stayed at Anglers Inn and the accommodations, staff and food were great.

Cool video, appreciate the time and effort editing it. I’ve been wanting to fish this place for awhile. How was traveling with rods and all your gear? Also how about when you arrive in Mexico is there any issues contacting your ride for pick up? Any suggestions you have other than obvious stuff. Thx

Rod travel is always kind of nerve wrecking. I didn't run into anything bad just buy a good rod tube and some TSA locks and you should be fine. My checked bag was almost all tackle and my clothes fit into a larger backpack. No issues on transport Anglers Inn takes care of all of it and is very helpful and responsive to any changes. Pack sunscreen! The fish was amazing and you could really throw anything you want. Go through the Angler Inn trip service they will help you through the entire process of flights as well!

Did the fishing guides speak English? How many hours were you out with your guide everyday?

He spoke a little English, sun up to sun down with an hour break for lunch. It’s a lot of fishing

@@jrowinski82 Angler’s Inn is the premier outfitter on El Salto. That was my 4th trip. Each time is better than the last. Fishing is amazing, the accommodations are terrific and the service is unbelievable. Can without a doubt recommend a visit.
