Lake Isabella Crappie Fishing

We went fishing at Lake Isabella by the canal...the water level looked pretty low but we did managed to land a couple of BIG MAMA's.. It was a slow day but it was nice just to be out there. See you on the next video!

I'm guessing the water has to be low like it is now at below 20% for the canal to be seen. Google maps does not show the canal near tillie creek launch or boulder creek. We have a boat so we can just zoom to any spot and also have a helix 7 fish finder and aqua vu underwater camera to see what fish are actually under (bass. Carp, crappie)

Where can I purchase live minnows near Lake Isabella?

Sorry, I don't know who sells minnows close to Lake Isabella cause I got mine in Fresno. Hopefully, you can find some.

I was there a wk ago at that very spot. They bite better at night. There were a lot of Hmong ppl there too that was catching a lot and we caught all females slabs

I was last week at French gulf marina by the dock (lake patrol) I and got me 9 crappie slabs at night ,I huse to fish at joghuin cove at south fork buts is dry ,kaystack cove look very promise if you have a float tube or kayak a lot of vegetation and trees in the water Please share hot places in the lake crappie are not coming to the shallows yet

yes, you're right but according to this lake's regulations, you can only stay from sunrise to sunset.

Sorry, but it's along a dirt road so i don't know the exact location but if you google map Lake Isabella, Tillie Creek Launch Ramp Boating Site, it's in that area. You can miss it there's alot of people fishing there if you go like on the weekend. Good luck!
