You said there's no off-roading near the campgrounds yet there's at 4:09 there's a side by side. Do they allow off-roading with quads off the campsites? Like nearby dirt roads?

Hi..lake is huge 11,000 acres. Road is tight but I am sure there's got to be another route for trailers and rvs. Actually.i never seen any rvs drive along kern river.🤔

Did you happen to go buy pioneer point do you know if it's still closed pioneer point and main Dam were the best camp grounds out there I think they even have hobo camp ground closed now 30 years ago that was a happening place 😢

Hi there...I didn't go by because went the other side of hwy 178 and Pioneer is on hwy 155 . I will check it out and let you know. I am sure it's open now. I had Reservations last year but cancelled last minute and stayed further up kern river. But I'll put it on my list to check it out. 😊
