Lake Jocassee History

It wasnt that long ago, as recently as 1970, that the view of Lake Jocassee would have been dramatically different. So when about twenty local folks who once lived in the Jocassee Valley gathered at Laurel Valley Lodge to reminisce, we went along to hear their stories. And they flowed as freely as the Toxaway River once did in the valley below us. Many of those memories are just around the bend.
