Lake Lenape Kayak Fishing - May 31 2017

Went down to Mays Landing to Kayak Fish Lake Lenape in the end of May 2017. It was a cold front (rained 2 days in a row) and it was pretty much near or in post spawn for some areas of South NJ for bass. Besides only catchin 3 fish, I have forgotten all my gopro batteries at home :( Regardless, i was able to land a few. thank god no skunk!

for sure, i am sure they can smell it and come up to get it. there were maybe half a dozen seen that day. I would bet there would be a ton more if the cats didn't clean up.

Hi Mate, I'm interested in how you are finding your new sounder the Elite 5 Ti. Cool to see you using the Gofree chart sharing. My specific interest is how you are finding the touchscreen when it gets water splashes on it. Does it continue to operate well, or does it play up when wet, or if your hands are wet. I'm considering buying this model, but leaning toward the Hook 5 with non-touch screen. Id love to have access to the Sidescan functionality. How do you have your structurescan transducer mounted? i love it! water doesn't seem to impact the screen. of course i never really had it super duper wet or submerged for a long time. dielectical grease is really important for the terminals to keep it from rusting. always reapply every few trips! and I do have a video on how I mount my transducer. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oZiUqGudhZWFgZo
