Video idea, since theres been some discussion of this. A taste test between a Huron, Superior, and Michigan king. I suppose you could do it with coho, steelies, and lakers to.

When you open your spins up from the package and if you don’t have the package, how do you know what the spoon is the name of it?

Every time I look on the site (TT) to purchase plugs they are sold out. Show plenty in store though. Long drive from Wisconsin

Been outta big lake fishing for about 13 years I really enjoy your podcast and videos. While I was watching this one I got real sticker shock when seeing the price of the equipment nowadays. I’m retired now and there’s no way I could afford this sport anymore. I’m glad I got to enjoy it in the 80’s and 90’s. Thanks for letting me relive it again through your videos and podcast I always look forward to them.

Does anybody do any good on firetiger or uv tiger on the lake? I kill with that color in the rivers.
@tangledtacklefishing Жыл бұрын
There are definitely spoons and other lures that mimic those colors.

Gotta get with Bud over the Okuma wire line rod packages .. the handles are striping out on. On the reels .. hoping I can get with a Okuma rep for input back to them on soft metal handles .. fighting big Kings puts a lot of stress on these reels .Handles shouldn’t strip out after 6 weeks of charter fishing

30 yrs of charter fishing .. never had a reel handle strip out while fighting a fish .. the reel was fine but the handle striped out from the reel shaft ..got to be soft metal in the reel handle.. not bitching here .. just giving input so the problem can be corrected .

Thanks for a great vid Chris. I’ve been getting in to running meat, and I’m running between 9 and 12 lines when I do it but I’m only putting down one or two meat rigs. My question is, what are you running on your other lines to make sure that your other lines are fishing? For example, do you still run moonshine spoons because I’m usually hesitant to run them below 2.5 mph.

You can run your other gear at slower speeds. We do it all the time with good results.
