LAKE MONSTERS! Maybe the BIGGEST fish in Lake Erie.

A quick morning trip out of Barcelona Harbor on Lake Erie fishing for giant Lake Trout. We set up over 100’ of water trolling deep with spoons and Dusey divers to hook a bunch of these giant fish. NYS biologists are giving a lot of attention to this growing fishery in Lake Erie and so we give it a shot. The bites come quick!

Under appreciated fish in Lake erie. Probably because a lot of people dont eat them. They sure are fun to catch....always get a bunch in lake Ontario...especially in spring.

I agree! They fight great and are pretty willing to bite. Also the DEC biologists are really interested in them right now so the fishery is going to get better and better I would imagine.

THERE ARE STURGEON AND MAYBE A FEW MUSKIES IN LAKE ERIE THAT ARE PROBABLY BIGGER ESPECIALLY THE STURGEON!!
