Lake Mulwala & the wildlife

Not knowing where we were heading we pull up at Lake Mulwala, just inside the NSW border, and are just amazed at how beautiful the Lake is. This Lake is part of the Murray River system and with submerged red gums everywhere, birdlife using branches as perches, the entire landscape is spectacular. Then throw in an camp fire as the sun goes down and a dramatic sunrise the next morning, it's just a great place to camp.
The following day we get lost, blame the GPS and end up in Wycheproof visiting John's brother. Lots of fun this trip with silo art, family and some crazy birds thrown in - what a trip!

I agree, we are definitely taking paper maps with us to the Cape - just to be sure. Cheers Sharyn
