Wow I’ve never been lake diving I don’t think I could do it lol I’m from Oklahoma but when I was stationed in Okinawa I got certified. I got spoiled with the vis there 140’ in some areas (50m) what was y’alls vis? Like 5-8’

Why is there a bridge way down under the water? Was it an old bridge that was replaced? 🤷‍♂️

The Bridge was built in 1911 over the old Saluda river. In 1929 that river was dammed and the valley was flooded to make Lake Murray. They never dismantled the bridge before flooding.

I have not found any old vehicles. I imagine if you get further up into the Lake , as in the Saluda River, at some of the more rural boat launch ramps you might find some dumped vehicles submerged in the water. I just don't make it up that far.
