If you’re wondering those fish you thought were smallies are actually way cooler than smallies. They’re mean mouth, which is a spot/smallmouth hybrid.

10lb braid with an 8ln mono leader. Lets lures fly on a light action.

I tried that but i can throw further using a lighter mono all the way and setting the drag like use the 8lb mono all the way and i bet you throw farther granted you will have to replace more often
