Wow, you caught some very nice fish that didn't make the cut. Bit of a tight fit under that bridge, that would be trouble for me LOL Thanks for sharinga few bonus cuts with us all, take care Joe!

I’ll tell you what….I wouldn’t mind catching them drum. Looks like they really fight. Wow, a bluegill on the wacky worm. He was a nice one! Tight fit under that bridge and ouch on the way out 😣 Pretty neat going through the tunnel! What a beautiful smallie about 6:00 mark!! Those largemouth were gorgeous too. Good stuff Joe 💪🏻👊

Drum have an interesting fighting style. They get hooked and instantly gain 20 pounds, disguising themselves as a stump or boulder. At some point they get bored and magically turn back into a fish.
@live2fishofficial5 ай бұрын
Good description! Sometimes they fool me into thinking they’re a smallie, but the lack of a head shake gives them away. They also pull similar to a catfish, but not as hard.

@@live2fishofficial I caught my first couple on lures recently, and both times I thought I was snagged. There are some absolutely massive ones out there - if I were to find them schooled up somewhere, I wouldn't mind targeting them, especially if there are hitting artificial lures. I was trying for sturgeon once when the guy next to me hooked a drum that must have been near 40 inches in the St. Clair River - it broke him off about 7-8 ft. from the bank. We both thought it was a sturgeon until it was right in front of us. It very well could have been a state record drum - heartbreaking.

I had to hop in the water last week to pull out the drain plug to sink the boat down to get under a bridge then put it back in 😂. It was well worth it tho, and got cooled off lol!

That’s INSANE! Was that LSC or up north!
@RedAngleFishing5 ай бұрын
@@live2fishofficial it was St. Clair. The water didn’t feel as warm as I expected 😂. I let the bilge fill up enough to weigh the boat down a few inches then plugged it back off. Once I got to the other side I pumped the water back out and had to repeat the process coming back. The key is to keep a finger in the hole so you know where it is and don’t drop the drain plug 😂😂
