Brigitte Kearney's approach to the bass is phenomenal and unique. I love the way she moves between driving the rhythm and melodic fills to complement Rachel and McDuck, while keeping the intensity Scott talks about.

Yeah, and there`s the pandeiro in brazilian music ... and it can "replace" a whole drumset indeed. base drum, snare, hi-hat - all that sounds and more you can get out of the pandeiro or let`s say some drummers and all brazilian percussionists can get out ;)

Rachel's voice first attracted me to Lake St Drive but the more I listen to them the rhythm and simplistic approach to arrangements impress me. B's upright bass playing is a monster.
