Beautiful vlog guys. That drone captured some great scenes! Tahoe reminds me a lot of Acadia National Park here in Maine mixed with the Casinos of Las Vegas. The best of both worlds!

Really good opening vlog guys. Lake Tahoe looked amazing and it saved me ever going now that I have seen it 😂. Also after the park ranger telling you about the bears I would have waited in the car and let Joleen go down to the lake👍. The hike to the tea house looked a bit sketchy but that base camp pizza looked awesome. Great win on the poker again from Claire and we are looking forward to the next episode.

Hi N&C - yes, that was quite a travel day! The drone footage has such incredible "AWE FACTOR" - it never fails to impress. I love that you got "Bear Aware" from the park ranger. Those were impressive paw prints he had. You're more adventurous than I would be with the Kayak - that's a cool island with the "Tea House." It looks like you definitely got your exercise on the hike - probably helped build up an appetite for the Base Camp pizza. Of course Christmas Claire was on the prowl for commemorative ornaments. BE-A-YOOTI-FUL! Haven’t been up to Tahoe in so long. Used to go mainly for the gaming, but my wife didn’t care for the drive on the winding mountain road anymore. I think Bally’s was Caesar’s Tahoe and Hard Rock was The Horizon back then. But Harvey’s was our favorite. Can’t imagine adding a flight from the UK before that. Looks like the hike down to Emerald Bay was doable, but I’d be yearning for a chair lift on the way back up. I think if you’re on that island alone, you can plant your flag and proclaim it Nicky’s Island while you’re there. I was hoping there was a lady with a dim sum cart at the tea house. On land or at sea, looks like Claire is the queen of video poker. Must have been the ice cream. Wonderful stuff! Stay bear aware.

Man if they was dim sum there id have been all in😁😁 Claire wasnt a fan of the travel day, it didnt bother me so much but id recommend splitting it up after a long flight!

The drone footage was outstanding as usually. Too bad there wasn't a working tea house on the island. It would have been fabulous having tea and enjoying the view. Welcome back to the States Clare & Nicky...and your drones! I'm in Vegas as I write this, and after seeing the awesome mountains footage, I have to say STAY THERE!! Vegas is one huge construction site with many walkways blocked & the others overcrowded. Mandalay Bay is the only landscaped resort that has NOT been spoiled by F 1!! And be aware - it's not bears, but scammers are everywhere. I got scammed copying a barcode while trying to make a reservation for a restaurant! Bear aware & Scam scare. Have a nice holiday 😩😲🤪 .

Went to San Francisco for three nights this summer (ahead of a trip to Hawaii) and enjoyed it. Watching you guys makes me think of a San Francisco, Lake Tahoe and Reno or Yosemite Park tour holiday. Giving me inspiration! Any idea what the poker is like in these casinos by the way?

Reagan Beach not too far from where you went to Red Hut has complimentary parking and free access. Hard Rock just changed over to Golden Nugget. Happy you are going around the entire lake…it is just beautiful. I missed you by one night…
