I just spent 6 days out on Peck. Lakers are my favorite fish to target. Most averaged around 10 lbs but was about to get one just under 18 lbs. clam leach is da bomb out there. In two different occasions I was able to see lakers destroying a bait ball of Cisco’s on my livescope. Pretty amazing to watch.

Haha tighten that drag up at 9:00, those are some of the hardest fishing fish inch per inch I’ve ever had the pleasure to catch!

no one ever hooks a king through the ice while chasing lakers, why is that? are they main basin by the dam?

It happens once in a while but it is rare. Would love to catch one through the ice. They do seem to stay by the dam and most people who hook into one never see it because they have so much horsepower.
