Bushcraft Hammock Camping in Texas Wilderness

Me and @MulletMan are taking his overland truck to an old Tonkawa Indian camp in the Texas wilderness. We are bushcrafting a hammock comping site for ourselves along with working self bows for a morning pig hunt.

He looks out over the horizon and say such a awesome view!?! If i was blind folded i would be thinking oceanside cliffs, a lake, a mountain range. Take the blind fold off and its a desert. If a texan see anything other than a barren desert it would be beautiful. Such a simple people im kinda jealous. All i see is a flat desert. They see hunting ground.

One good recommendation that I've heard for camping alone that would have worked in this case too is to bring ear plugs for sleeping. That way every little noise won't keep you awake.

Got some trespasser's hanging out around the river and using that sane net to catch fish and bait too. Like you said that's just strange. I'd definitely be spooked out sleeping down by the river not knowing who's out there! Surely between the two of y'all one of ya had a pew pew? I don't go to camp or into the woods without one.

Mike has the same vision as me as far as taking a deer with a home made bow and hand made broad head except I want to take it a few steps further and make my own bow string, arrows and fletching ✌✌

Try turning your broacheads about 1/8" at a time , shoot and repeat . Balancing your broadhead to your arrow. I hope this help's !!!

Gotta bareshaft tune those trad arrows to your shooting

There is a whole process. Easiest to start with a disered point weight and then cut back the arrow bit by bit until you get bareshaft flying perfect
