Plays a lot like Danny Green. As of now Hart is a fringe starter or a great backup. I think he can be a bonifide starter in a year or two
@bjsw5347 жыл бұрын
He’s a way better finisher than Danny Green has ever been though and is more effective in transition/fast break

His one on one defense is nice. In time he can become a real good 3 and D player. Last night against olidipo down the stretch he was all over him
@TheLakeShow7 жыл бұрын
Reminds me of D.fish. plays within the flow of the offense, versatile on D, good at absorbing contact when attacking the rim. Imo Pete, I think he is part of the young core of ZO, B.I, KUZ. I love his game plus that Villanova championship pedigree. Good vid fam always love your content.

Yea, We still have yet to see their last pick, Thomas Bryant's potential as well. A big man with a strong motor and shooting touch is pretty nice to have. Hope he will have his chance to shine in the future.

Arthur rob pelinka and earvin seem to be doing pretty well though so far. Their turn around in culture and fan support has been impressive, and they seem set up for the future. They're sort of the same position that okc and gsw were in when they were young and budding, let's hope they stay on this trajectory and make the right moves to capitalise on the players they've drafted

I 100% agree, I think Luke's sees that Pete isn't looking for the soundbite or to break a story or to uncover any drama. Luke see's what we all see when we look at Pete's content, Luke see's a guy who is looking at the game from a coaches point of view rather than a spectator or fan.

Great vid as always. I was honestly thrilled when we drafted Hart. I look at Hart and think Byron Scott. I hope the Lakers allow Hart to keep growing and just fine tune him a little. I can't help but think Hart will end up a 3-ball/PG DEF specialist like Byron was in the 80's. I remember Byron coming in and looking like a mini Jordan at times. His ability to lift up over defenders on the break often made him spectacular. Maybe due to the talent around him, he ended up being more of a role player instead of being featured on some really great teams.

If he works on his handles and improves his iso game, I can see him devolping into a Jimmy Butler type player.
@khanhnguyen54537 жыл бұрын
I personally feel like he should improve on his shooting the most. His handle is fine for the amount of ball time he will be getting, but in the current system the Lakers need him to be a catch and shoot offensive weapon the most since we got multiple ball handlers already.

Do u know how good butler is? Lol
@khanhnguyen54537 жыл бұрын
LakerHead: Well until two to three years ago, do you know how good butler is lol? He is in exact position where butler started out being know simply as a good defensively player (Averaged 2.6 pts rookie year), so Josh hart definitely has a shot to develop into a Jimmy Butler type of player.
@sakreligous19467 жыл бұрын
LakerHead At the beginning of Butlers career he was nothing but a defender, Then blossomed into a 3 and D player And now two-way star.

I'm not a big draft guy but when the Lakers originally got that 28th pick Josh Hart was the one guy I was really like "Man I hope they pick this guy up." Of course, it didn't work out quite like that. Got Kuzma + Hart and T. Bryant. Couldn't be happier with this draft class. Man.

@bigcheech19376 жыл бұрын
Jason De Leon He's a guard that can effectively defend 3 positions maybe 4, consistently hit open 3s, and rebound like a Power Forward...oh he also gives you like 2-3 offensive rebounds a game. Bear in mind that this is with limited rookie minutes. If that's average to you, you truly don't know the game

Atlast a recogtion of Josh Hart. I like his game I never doubted the lakers picking him. He use his body so well and a decent defender. Next season? I will see his minute to go up. Because they will not going to keep KCP and I see them trading JC before the deadline. And I cant wait to see Thomas Bryant too. Hes going to be a beast someday. Because he is the modern type of bigs that can shoot 3s.

This guy is the starting SG for years to come. Only thing that's keeping him from 30 mil contract is his lack of height and lenght. Otto porter brings similar attributes (3&D) but is longer. Nonetheless Hart will play a vital role for us. I'm so happy with the drafting of Pelinka And Magic. Ithis guys a winner too.
@justina56887 жыл бұрын
I still remember the moment I saw josh hart break out of his offensive shell. I remember he knocked down 2 clean free throws, then I'm not even kidding when the camera zoomed in on his face after I saw something in him. I was like "oh shit I think he bout to do something". The very next play he made a very aggressive drive to the rim, don't remember if he made it or not but just seeing him do that was crazy. He had been an offensive liability for so long before that and when I saw some aggression out of him I knew we were about to see a brand new josh hart.
@kirstenaudreidejesus41157 жыл бұрын
KCP missing those games had really helped Josh Hart and he stepped up on those extra minutes. I just hope the Lakers don't let him just walk away after his contract is up just like Nwaba
