Wow I can really see what else we may need a drop coverage rim defending big who can defensive rebound. Put him together with AD, DFS Christie and Gabe if he can be Healthy Vando. Switch them out with LeBron and Reaves and all their strengths on defense complement each other.

Doe Doe have to worry about getting blown by for easy lay ups so he cant really press hard on small guards but now he got AD. Doe said Playing with AD means he can take more risks so yeah he finna lock down them small guards too and if he gets cooked anyways he got AD on the help side to cover his laps so we good. I am sure he would make it tougher on anyone he guarding coz he got AD

Tbh I’m wondering how the lakers will incorporate vando when he’s healthy. I worry he won’t be a laker by the end of next season because he’s injury prone and an offensive liability. Even though vando is younger than DFS, I believe DFS is the final product. A veteran wing with a 3 point shot on top of his excellent defense. Plus if they can’t coexist on the court together because of their offense, I think that leaves vando as the odd man out.

No doubt about it. This is my hope as well. I focused on the non-AD minutes a bit more because I think that stretch of minutes is gonna be critical to the team's playoff success or failure. They're currently losing the LeBron minutes by 10 points per 100 possessions. Gotta shore that up and I see the DFS acquisition as being an attempt to do that as much as anything else. Excited about the potential alongside AD though as well, no doubt.
