Won’t happen. Not for Cam Johnson at least. Can’t make sense of the minutes. AD wants to play more forward, Bron and DFS are already locked into forward and Knecht needs forward minutes as well. Forward is locked, especially when you consider Vando’s eventual return. Lakers need guard and center help now.

The Lakers over paid for DFS. Dlo is the better player on an expiring contract. He’s better than DFS and Shake Milton combined. The Lakers actually have a decent record in games that Lebron doesn’t play and that’s due in large part to Dlo. Now if Lebron misses a game you’ll have Reeves, Milton and Gabe Vincent at the point? Turn over city.

@@adamhurley751 Dlo is the better player, sure, but he’s not a better fit, and fit matters. He’s taken a big step backwards this year and looked like he checked out and wanted out. DFS is a big wing which is something we were lacking and a much better shooter than Dlo this year. Is dlo going to average 20 with BKN? Probably. But he wasn’t shooting well and is a bad defender.
