The issue is centers are going for a premium this season. Even non-starter caliber centers have gotten pretty decent contracts. Also, the lakers dont really want to give up players that other teams would want, such as Austin. Dlo doesn't have a market, so including him as the biggest trade piece will probably force the lakers to give 1 even 2 first round picks just for a backup center? Like the Jazz arent just going to hand Kessler over( he has a really team friendly contract) for a salary filler player and a 2nd rounder 😂
