I was an LA fan during the 3 peat (I go back to 90/91 as my first full season, not a bandwagoner, still here in the shit years). Anyway, from about 1999 on, you would get cold chills from seeing them close together. Shit got hairy in 2000/01 and the start of 2003/04. They hated each other with intensity. That's all being sugar coated as the years go by. I got games from 2001 where Shaq wouldn't even look at him. Kobe would jump up to chest bump him and he'd keep walking with no response.
