I'd be down for Stan Van Gundy to come in as a assistant. Coaching experience, well respected and has a good relationship with JJ including being JJ's first coach back in orlando. I think Van Gundy, Brooks, Rondo would be a solid staff for JJ. I'd also look into bringing back Handy. Doesn't have to be a assistant coach role can bring him in to work fulltime on developing players helping us build that program.

I can assure you that I am not heavily emotional about LeBron, except that I think he's stinking up my Lakers. I did intentionally use the word "appears" because I can't say for sure what his heart and motive are. It's not fancy, it's just intellectually honest. I root for the guy because he's on the squad I've been rooting for 49 years. However, due to the results of his tantrums towards coaches and GMs, and being able to verify how he leaves teams and organizing, I wish he would do a huge sign and trade to the next place he will get to the finals and lose, so we can recoup some of what we need to start fresh.
