Went here every summer and winter from probably about 1996-2006 give or take a couple, pretty hard to see and not get emotional. Many many amazing memories.

This was my childhood. I spent time there for kids camp, family camp, then jr high and high school camp. Also when we were high school age we showed up every year early before any of the official camps started and got to be a part of construction camp. We built the halfpipe, the climbing wall, resurfaced the basketball court a few times, dug up ground to create volley ball courts, lakeside landscaping, etc... And then we’d take adventures in to Fon Du Lac and eat where PJ aka Pastor Jon Marx claimed to be the best and then venture around to some of the local sight seeing places like the light house. I def miss it.

I was born and raised in Chilton Wisconsin. My mom was born and raised and died in Chilton WI. My grandma was born in Gravesville and died in Chilton WI. I have never heard of anything like this
I grew up in this area. It is in Brothertown. One of my sisters use to live there. I remember around 1974 eating a fish dinner here with my parents in the larger building. I was about 6-7 years old. It is sad to see these structures built and then not cared for. It probably did not bring in enough money to cover the mortgage and got foreclosed on. Then a buyer could not be found. It is junk now. Those building will have to be torn down.

I actually know the entire story of what happened to the property, as my grandfather was the head of the FCA (the religious organization that owned it for decades).

So what is happing to the property. Just continues to just sit there and buildings deteriorate? Water front property and quite a few acres. It must be worth something.

Lol, I helped build that half pipe back in 95 or 6. I also think it's funny that OP claims to know the whole story about the camp, but doesn't answer what that is. Here it is, and it's not exciting at all. The association of churches sold the property to a private owner that was planning to build a house on the property. The churches argued about what to do with the money (camp scholarships and whatnot or just plain cash out) and they eventually settled on splitting the money evenly. The private buyer defaulted on the loan(s) and the property went into foreclosure. It's been bank owned property for a while now.
