Thank you❣️❣️❣️ The gift of a Storyteller is sadly becoming a long lost art. This story holds so much history and wisdom. Told by a very wish man. To me there is no better way to pass down a cultures history than through storytelling. I'm Irish and years ago read a boom called Ireland. It's was about thr last storyteller in Ireland. Yes, it was fiction, however, the stories told were those that had been passed down from the beginning of Ireland. An incredible book and still rates as my all-time favorite. This video is truly a gift. I'm honored to have been able to share in some of the Cree Nation's culture and history.

I’ve heard of Larry Cesspooch for what seems like my whole life. I’m 18 years old and my mom grew up in Utah, next to Larry Cesspooch’s house. I’m not native that I’m aware of, my grandfather was an Olsen, very Danish, but my grandma was very into family history and claims we are related to who we know as “Pocahontas”. I know she is not Ute. I have always been fascinated with Indians and as I grow older I’ve started wanting to learn of their cultures more and their languages. Could be due to my ancestors, they were close with the Utes, a close bond with respect and trust on both ends, in the later 1800s. Anyway, I admire natives and have become more and more interested. I love hearing their stories and prophecies. I remember a man named Willard(hope o spelled it right) who lived near Cesspooch and near the place my mom grew up, it was many years ago when I was little but I remember us stopping and visiting with him for a moment. I would like to visit and learn with more natives. There are NAS programs at colleges, however I’m not sure what life will bring and don’t know if college will be in my future. I basically go where the wind takes me, where God takes me. But maybe someday I can learn to speak the language(s) fluently and study the cultures

This may seem a bit trivial, but i just got off a call where we were contemplating how to change the world, we had talked about several past formulas about what had worked and what had not. We want to make the world a better place! (of course this is based off of your idea of what is better) but what it boiled down to logistically was "TELLING A STORY". We are all people and no matter what we do or what industry we work in, it always boils down to what story do you want to tell and what story are you truly telling. The media is telling all sorts of stories and no one has much of anything in the way of a complete picture. Lets tell stories to ourselves and our own families and make ourselves better from the stories, lets let the world grow from good stories and make the world a better place! We all really want to have good lives, and the best way to do that is to be good people! So lets be good people and make life better for all of us!
@karensagal82305 жыл бұрын
Ryan Povilaitis: I don 't think it trivial. If we each tell our own 'stories' & share them with others & share the 'stories' we hear from others we just might get a more complete picture! I believe we all have different perceptions to be able to see 'our' part of that picture. If we put our different parts together what could we see?!

So, I am Witch, a Bell, Book, and Candle Tarot reader, just like my grandmother! And I love it. My real spiritual legacy. Even though I am 1/4 Potowatomi, though my first nation's Canadian friends say, "you are the most Potowatomi that we still have" because most Potowatomi have been wiped out. For me, I am a witch.
