Watson is a great QB, which everyone knows. I kept saying though that 2015 was Deshaun's Heisman season. The Committee got it Wrong, and everyone knows this, too. Hopefully, Watson & Company will win the National Title this season. Jackson and Watson made this a college football season to remember, for sure. Lamar Jackson was ELECTRIFYING! This kid has the best overall stats of ANY QB in this draft with an equal number of starts. Nobody in college football did more with less, since Louisville isn't a popular destination for football's high school elite. Lamar under Center at Oklahoma would've had even better numbers simply bcuz of the significant amount of quality talent throughout the team. Had her played in UCLA, they'd have has a better win percentage, and the same with USC. EVERYONE IS SLEEP AT THE WHEEL BCUZ THE LOUISVILLE AND OKLAHOMA STATE QB's ARE BOTH DESERVING OF BEING DRAFTED TOP 20. NONE OF THESE QB'S ARE LOCKS AT THE NFL LEVEL, BUT THE GUYS THAT ARE A THREAT TO ESCAPE PRESSURE WHILE STILL BEING ABLE TO DELIVER EVERY THROW HAVE THE BEST CHANCE. EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM NEEDS TO SIT FOR AT LEAST A YEAR OR UNTIL THE PLAYOFFS AREN'T AN OPTION.

Develop his ability to read and react to schemes. New England would be a great team for him but I think they might have Auletta or White in mind. If he can get that time to develop, he can be a tremendous quarterback. I like him better than almost all the other top QB's who are considered to be further along.

People forget my ancestors did not speak English b4 slavery. Combine that with poor schooling. Many southerners talk just like he does. Even many of the educated talk in a similar manner. Some of it is just culture as well. It is about what he is saying, not how he is saying it!
@paulmonaco11486 жыл бұрын
dfisher280 : Do the CLOSED eye test.... Close your eyes, and listen to Lamar Jackson talk. If you say it sounds like an ELEVEN year old, you WIN!!! The Ravens are NOT going to spend GOOD MONEY to make Lamar the FACE of this franchise. When he C A N ' T EVEN be UNDERSTOOD!!! Believe That!!!
@dfisher2806 жыл бұрын
Paul Monaco the nation is more visual. Question is can he win games for us and make us money? There are many athletes that are, bad talkers, but considered to be face of the franchise, i.e. derrick rose and the bulls. Not to say diction and communication skills are not judged, but for some ticket sales, money, and success are more important. Oh and u are aware that the ravens drafted him, right? If not willing to spend "good money" then why draft him?
@paulmonaco11486 жыл бұрын
dfisher280 : KUDOS my Friend, and this kid is a STUD. I'm just tired of everyone placing a CROWN on his head as a UNPROVEN Rookie. Dfisher280 You obviously know about his (13) on the Wonderlic Test, you get THREE points for knowing how to spell your name, and what State you are in??? How many times have you heard : " The QB is the S M A R T E S T Guy on the team. " I'm a betting man, and I wish Las Vegas had a teaser bet as to the dumbest guy on the Ravens Roster. Like I told my friends, this kid can play, but he is DUMB as FUCK!!! NO Crown from me.
@dfisher2806 жыл бұрын
Paul Monaco your entitled to your own opinion. The wonderlic test is nonsense as far as judging football IQ. Personally I think IQ tests are nonsense. Something as simple as the understanding of a word can completely nullify a person's ability to understand a question. A score of 10 on the wonderlic is considered to be literate. NFL players average between 10 and 20. You get 12 minutes to answer 50 questions. So ability to answer 50 questions in 12 minutes is also a factor in scoring. Intellect is not about knowledge, that is wisdom. Intellect in my opinion is making decisions, ability to learn, and to apply what u have learned. Lamar ran a pro style offense, under a demanding couch and won a Heisman trophy. So he may look or sound dumb, contrary to popular opinion, evidence does not support that conclusion.
@paulmonaco11486 жыл бұрын
dfisher280 : You are a WORDSMITH, and didn't get cheated in the SMARTS Department. Sadly, and the TRUTH is unless you are a die-hard fan for Lamar. The majority of KZbin viewers lean toward my way of seeing this young man. He is TALENTED, with limitations ON and BEYOND the football field. If I'm being HONEST, I DON'T put much weight in the WONDERLIC Test, but it's fun to use it as a reference to poke fun at other peoples HERO's. Fish, I've got NO GRIPE with you, and your arguments for Lamar are valid. Time will tell, WHO got this RIGHT... LOL. Good Luck My Friend.
