First time I heard this song I was stunned. Blythe was superb, the lead guitar fantastic and the bass and drums were totally awesome. The riffs in this song is LEGENDARY STUFF! One of their BEST songs for sure.

Lamb of God has been around for a pretty long time now. I believe for over 30 years. A huge staple in metal, paved the way for a lot of bands. Fun Fact: Lamb of God was originally called Burn The Priest, but was forced to change their name due to the offensiveness and violence of the name.

That's not true actually. They've said in interviews they changed the name because of a lineup change and they were tired of being mistaken for a satanic band and wanted to be taken more seriously

I got to see Lamb of God live at Ozzfest in 2007 and they literally blew me away. One of the best live performances I'd ever seen. Plus they were super down to earth when I got to meet them as well. Randy Blythe(the lead singer)was just so incredibly chill.

So...that drummer is good and has to be because the shoes he had to fill...were out of this world big. Chris Adler was their original drummer and co-founder for over 20 years. His brother, Willie Adler, plays guitar in the band. Anyways... Chris Adler is a metal drumming legend. He was apart of forming that Melodic Metal drumming sound we hear today in a lot of bands that are currently out. You have to check out some of the older stuff with him. The way Adler plays the most complicated rhythms and just sits behind the kit like it is cake work and effortless. This track is from the first album the band released since Adler parted ways from them. They are also all from the city I have been living outside of and group around, Richmond VA. I got to meet Adler at local drum shop several years ago. I just happened to in the store that day looking at some new cymbals and he just popped in to sign a couple of his signature ride cymbals. He hung out for little bit there and came to drum showcase at a local high school in one of the surrounding counties the following weekend I went. Super chill dude and very humble.

One of my favorite internet creepypasta is the "wake up" stories.
