Solid lyrics for sure, but that particular line seems extremely out of place. Why would someone be barred from heaven for snitching on violent criminals that are presumably bound for hell themselves? Lamb of God is the most perfectly "metal" metal band of all time imo. Their song writing is amazing, their composition is just incredible. Each member understands exactly what their role is and does their job perfectly. Overlord is a great song with a combination of smooth vocals and then Randy’s chaotic harsh vocals

I consider them strictly groove metal. Like Pantera. Kinda hard to fit them into the other genres specifically.
@michaelgundersen18095 жыл бұрын
Pantera is much better.
@KINGCVSEY5 жыл бұрын
rorz999 exactly. I keep seeing Pantera in the comments but they’re in two different lanes, AND time frames lol
@rja99965 жыл бұрын
KING CVSEY I mean personally you can hear a big Pantera influence in LoG imo so I think that’s why
@KINGCVSEY5 жыл бұрын
RJA99 9 if anything I’d say Iron Maiden because of their Egyptian style riffs but personally I feel like they’re in a lane of their own 🤷🏽♂️
@rja99965 жыл бұрын
KING CVSEY oh yeh I’m sure they have more than one influence but I’ve always felt that the Pantera style shines through the most in their songs

Shout out to Kevin for the great pick, I knew Ryan was going to love the groove of this song haha. I agree that it's nothing innovative but it's just heavy riffs and that's one of the main things I love about metal. Ashes Of The Wake is my favorite album from them as well, the production is on point and every song just has its own sound instead of "just another Lamb Of God song", The Faded Line is another great one from this album. Also I would really love for you guys to check out Cult Of Luna's song Ghost Trail, whether you like it or not I know you'll appreciate the creativeness of this track.

I cant believe this channel got so big. I remember when there were a couple thousand followers. Good job guys

Walk With Me in Hell has gotta be the next. From start to finish is a head banging, groove filled, raw sound that's just awesome. And seeing Ryan get so excited at the end brings joy to my heart. I had doubts based off the Laid to Rest reaction. Glad you both at least enjoyed it......and thank you Kevin for the request!

The next LOG song I’d recommend is ‘In Your Words.’ Incredible groove and energy to that track, with some great thrashy riffs.
