All bikes should have the cc fitted as standard. You don't realise until you have it at how good it really is. Here in AUS we have school zones that bring on wopping fines if exceeded. You enter at 40kmh, and flick the cc on, job done. When you first start riding out of the garage, flick the cc on, now adjust your mirrors to perfection whilst riding. On the free/motor way, not only is it good to rest your wrist, but what about your back. I was one of these people who banged on about it being a ridiculous add on. Oh how I've eaten my words now! Its a must try device.

I've just flown from Brisbane to Adelaide (Australia) to buy a 2015 BMW S1000RR and ride it back to Brisbane. The whole trip was about 4,000 kilometres (about 2,500 miles) in just over a week. I can quite honestly say it would have been pretty painful if it wasn't for the factory cruise control. Best invention ever!

Rally Lee hi, I’m in Adelaide I’d love to ride to Cairns, which route did you take to Brisbane? Via the coast or Broken Hill, Cobar etc.
@LeroyRallyX6 жыл бұрын
@@Aiken47 I went to Melbourne to watch the Moto GP then from there to Wodonga, Goulburn, central coast, port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Byron bay then home in Brisbane. I did see signs to Sydney just after Horsham which would cut out Melbourne. I would definitely suggest that if you're going all the way to Cairns.

I installed one of these on my 2004 Honda VFR 800. I absolutely love it . I am a novice when it comes to mechanical stuff, but I was able to figure it out. I had some trouble and the guys from MCC called me to help...all the way from Australia. I live in the US. This is a fine product and worth EVERY penny. Gas mileage improvement, less rider fatigue and less of a chance of getting a dumb speeding ticket. It's been on my bike for 2 years, and I've had zero problems. If I ever buy a new bike and it doesn't have factory cruise, I'm buying another MCC kit. As a matter of fact, I won't buy a bike unless MCC makes a cruise control unit that will fit.

There is no better aftermarket cruise control on the market. I used the unit on my 2010 FJR when I rode 14,500 KLM is 9 days on a trans Australia Quest and completed several Iron Butt Certified rides concurrently. I would not recommend any other device. Are the complications with the installation, when you already have a full translogic quickshifter and blipper system? Like your channel, keep that style 👍😎
@LambChopRides6 жыл бұрын
Thanks DR, when using the QS or blipper it interrupts the cruise as it detects the abrupt change in revs and deactivates. I think it will be exactly the same with the Translogic shifter and I couldnt see any reason why they couldnt work together.

In theory you need to tell them about factory optional extras too. Things like fly screen, comfort seat etc. The biggest problem is that when you do tell them they sometimes refuse cover or get confused about what the mod is.
