I'm currently testing one of these H2 SX and I'm really impressed. So smooth but powerfully sneaky. It has already a Brocks exhaust and air filter, and after the first service the owner has a new remaped ECU from Brocks to 240 hp. I'm looking forward to test her with this new ECU.

I'd prefer the "normal" H2, H2 wasn't made to be a cruiser... And it looks better too the original one, but I'd like to see they put a new color on it next year, like light blue or something...

I just love your videos. I only have 800 miles on my H2 SXse but it's exactly as you describe. I think the regular H2 is so much sexier looking. I never have a passenger but the color matched hard bags are just so danged handy. It ruins any semblance of sexy, but the bags turn into the bike into a daily rider. I also have a 2017 Moto Guzzi MGX-21 which I just love, but the Kawasaki panniers hold a LOT more than my bagger! Its insane lol. Lambchop, love ya man!

This is a good review, thank you for posting. My only gripe, and maybe I’m just unaware of how fast they are, is I have a hard time believing a GSXR 1000 is faster than this beast! But again, great review!
@SkuStyle
@SkuStyle 3 жыл бұрын
Chops stated ''my GSXR 1000 was faster than this'' which if you l@@k back on his channel videos he did as many upgrades as possible to make his GSXR 1000 the best it could be. Also remember this bike isn't a sports bike nor meant to be the fastest on the road, it's a sports tourer with excellent ride comfort and power delivery. Though as Chops says in the video, if tuned, add new slip-on exhaust you can make the Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX SE with 240 bhp at the back wheel then it would indeed surpass the GSXR 1000 in speed! ONLY answered your question as came back to watch the video as I'm thinking of getting one!

@@LambChopRides Chops, try an 848 Streetfighter if you can. They are a hugely underrated bike. Great power [132 hp] and good handling and looks. Michael Neeves of MCN fame highly rates them even against the latest super- mids [Triumph 765 Street- Triple, MT 09 etc]. Also have you tested the Kawasaki Z900 [not the RS]. No electronic aids, just a pure old school motorcycle. I tested one and found it great fun. It handles surprisingly well [better than a MT09] and is a bargain. Anyway mate, take care and keep on riding.

I'm thinking of giving one a try - BMWs current top spors tourer (K1600GT) always needed more power and the throttle on the current Euro4 model feels broken. So unless BMW come up with a new GT that's actually faster than the K1200 motors they released in 2005 I may need to go elsewhere.

Wow... My friend owns mt09 and from riding it i can say it's one of the most meanest and crazy bike i ever ridden. It has way too much power for it's suspension and aerodynamics. The thing wobbles like crazy on hard acceleration and extremely unstable on top speeds. Adding turbo on it sound a bit suicidal to me. Dude you're completely insane. I like it! Wish i could've ride that thing LOL
@Jeez726
@Jeez726 5 жыл бұрын
Yeah it’s not a bike for sustained high speeds but it suits where I live, urban short sharp bursts etc. Faster roads would be a Tuono or another Turbo MT10. Unfortunately I don’t have fast curvy roads nearby. I fitted an MRA screen and Protaper bars puts the 09 in a more Street Tripple position. The rear shock everyone knows is crap, with suspension mods apparently the bike handles great. No speed wobbles yet though but weirdly my Superduke would speed weave and could never sort it out. My turbo 09 is all about torque acceleration. It was torquey before, now I guess it’s at over 100ft/lbs (too much dyno slip) but 200 hp (on that local Yamaha dyno) Its still controllable as doesn’t come on too strong only above 5k rpm which means you can ride it normally. Returns still very good mpg. I’m still getting over 120 miles to a tank despite being mapped rich at 11.8 AFR. All this and similarly modded but extended 09s are getting 9 sec qtr miles. Other mods include different seat, Ftecu and active tune, EBC pads, and heavier clutch springs!

Here in Canada till the end of the month I can 4:99% for 84 months I can the beautiful grey one your riding at $29k or the H2 at $32,500,the problem is they won't let you test drive, pricks. I'm having my H2Sx se serviced right now as I type this. The impeller blade gets checked to look for something? Seated properly wearing properly or something. That added an extra hour of labor. I decided to have them put on high performance air filter and Yoshimura Alpha slip on at the same time since the glorified oil change 1st service included this supercharger impeller bit.
@skts2610
@skts2610 2 жыл бұрын
No real difference if you compare it to a ZX10 or similar. The supercharger impeller is checked for excessive play in the bearings and that’s easily done when you check or change the air filter, but apart from that it’s pretty much the same as a conventionally aspirated engine…

I spoke to a technician at the Kawasaki dlr I bought my H2 SX SE from about flashing and remapping, a slip on etc. They were adamant it was a bad idea and kept referencing the heat generated and changes to the timing required for the supercharger etc. Either way they were dead against it. I was a bit bummed out 😕

I dont really feel comfortable maxing my straight line acceleration out because it is so effortless and somewhat invisible. I could wring out my 2nd Gen Vmax cause you felt so connected to the road and the V4 thing..BUT I love the train liner power delivery on my H2SX..its really just like Lambchop said..just like Warp Speed on Millennium Falcon

i rode the kawasaki h2sx and the new hayabusa. Other than the the gauges, the kawasaki sxh2 does everything better . the Hayabusa feels like what it is a heavy 1999 hyperbike with electronics bolted on in an attempt to improve handling . Sorry the hayabusa falls short in the handling dept.

You saying about the mpg, on my H2SXSE it has all of that at the touch of a button. I know they changed the switchgear layout on the + because of the electronic “suspenders”, weird that you don’t have mpg etc on the + though!…

i have a 2018 h2 SX SE i was interested on your videos as you also ridden 2018 and you have a H2 in your own garage. Firsty this model called SX SE + , i think Kawasaki should have come out with this in the first place, the gen 1 model has no brembo and no electronic suspension which for a sports touring bike i see it as a must at the price range touching to 20 K . I bought mine from WHEELS motorcycles and actually it was a good dealer for a change. part ex my MT10 SP for a good price. now i had many bikes like your self but must say this bike is the best EVER on motorway speeds two up or single rider. she doesnt like B roads as such or town riding but A roads and fast roads she is ok but its not a sports bike. It s not as nimble as KTM super duke GT the brakes as good as ZZR1400 but not better. In dyno the bike only kick 168hp as there are so many restrictions from the factory. I am really considering a SX SE + just because the upgrade of brembo and suspension is really worth it. But watching your video makes even the colour change of the bike alone worth the change :D i did not ride the SX SE+ yet but would have love to know the suspension , because people saying you cant feel it and that's a very good thing :D the only thing is , if the bike still not feeling sharper? suspension alone should change the bike turning, stopping, coming out of corners, touring comfort and many other things. Does it deliver ?

the suspension in most reviews over a 19 SE version is not worth the extra cost imho, once set up properly the SE is an incredible bike. Good chance I am splurging tomorrow for a 19, decided on it over an insanely well priced 18 w 14KM but no warranty and a large service due at 24KM
@kiddcisco

I am back and I bought the 2020 SE in the new color. I love it and did not see the need to go +. You can manually adjust suspension cause its that good. Having the Brembos would be nice but I spent enough as is and scored a cheap Alpha slip on for 269us open box. I will stay stock for a while. The bike has great balance and its smooth! Just completing break in.

I always wanted to get a normal h2 but i didn't like the fact it doesn't have passenger sit. When i saw this one it got my attention but after riding it i got a bit disappointed, I mainly ride superbikes and even coming from zzr1400 my latest bike. This bike felt way to much as an ADV bike than sports one, Riding position is too upright and cornering felt a bit slower and heavier than on zzr1400. It's a still great bike but for me it's focusing way too much on touring and very little on the sport element.
